Dr. MPS World School Philatelic Club

“As a teaching tool, every stamp has a story to tell,”

School Philatelic club is an initiative of students aiming at nurturing their patience and persistence, teaching them about everything from ancient history to modern graphic design.

Club activities help kids from Primary class to students of senior classes develop the habit of going deep into intricacies while studying finer details of a tiny image printed on a piece of paper called stamp, and the story of why that particular image was printed on a stamp.

This habit of collecting stamps inculcates among World School students an impressive capacity for classifying objects and remembering details, thus helping young children accumulate a lot of organized, detailed expert knowledge in the field of demography, culture, science, and technology, language, mathematics, history, and nature.
